PROVISIONAL BALLOTS AND UNCOUNTED VOTE BY MAIL BALLOTS
TO BE TALLIED AT JULY 12 PROVISIONAL COUNT
JOLIET – Will County Clerk Lauren Staley Ferry invites candidates, political parties, and qualified civic organizations to observe as remaining Vote By Mail and Provisional Ballots are placed into election tabulators during Provisional Count.
Provisional Count is scheduled for 9 a.m., Tuesday, July 12 in the Will County Board Room, 302 N. Chicago St., in downtown Joliet.
Teams of Election Judges representing both the Republican and Democratic parties will process:
- Vote by Mail Ballots received after Election Day but that were postmarked on or before June 28, 2022.
- Valid Provisional Ballots cast on Election Day.
Results will be posted online after Provisional Count on July 12.
Each political party, candidate, and qualified civic organization is entitled to have Pollwatchers present. Pollwatchers must have Pollwatcher Credentials to present to elections staff at Provisional Count. Credentials can be found at willcountyclerk.gov.
